Davey Dreamnation

I read this book while travelling first class on a train from Stockholm to Gavle in Sweden last month but that’s another story. At seventy-odd pages, When You Bit (OTOLITHS, 2008) is a good hour’s read, if you pace yourself properly.

This tremendously barmy two-tone release, from possibly the world’s most electrifying three piece act, came hot on the heels of ninety one other DNRC releases and yet still sounds today as if it had never been thought of (let alone heard) at all.

OMG I heart Darryl and his posse of minor superstar hip-hoppers on this echt leuk song “Eeyeeyo” and yo in case you didn’t get it the first time it’s all about respect.
