Dreamnation knocks back lucrative fashion contracts – “it’s for the kids, eh”

Davey Dreamnation’s venture into the glitzy world of fashion and pearls, lace and swine may well prove short-lived, after it was revealed tonight that he is planning to display the no sweat logo, meaning effectively that his clothing empire ambitions are doomed.

Davey Dreamnation had only just returned from a barnstorming tour of the fashion capitals of the world – Paris, London and Smith Street, Melbourne – to rapturous acclaim, especially in relation to his new fashion item – the shirt pant.

Several leading Australian and European fashion houses withdrew their interests in Dreamnation Shirt Pants Inc. this morning ater learning of the artist’s stunningly political decision.

“It’s for the kids, eh?” Scaramouche shrugged, before joining waiting journalists for a game of snooker in the Camp Davey Billiards Hall tonight.

Meanwhile, fans of Davey’s unique blend of camp-fire sing-a-long, bawdy balladry and rock symphonism continue to download his tunes with gay abandon. His killer pop-rok number “Loveless” has now been downloaded an astounding 43 (forty-three) times.
