The JR Beetle is a hydrofoil providing a direct link between Fukuoka in Japan and Busan in South Korea. The journey takes 3 hours, by the end of which you can’t see much out of the windows as they’re covered in sea spray. I took this shot as we were leaving the harbour in Fukuoka. Kind of has that cyberpunk/Bladerunner future-city vibe going on, donät you think? Sayonara, Nihon!
