valves clips iron foundries kids
nothing but the shields against a

frightened forewarned oblivion -
blast bombs spherical footfalls
or death stars just as vulnerable
to teenage kicks or malfunctions

spare the women & the marshals
the ignominy of water cannons -
let your fused chroming minds
roam across deserted carriageways

the parade grounds of historical
accidents purposes stolen hates
dim causes shadow boxing with the
kids who didn't go to peace camp
