In 1983 the American Library Association (ALA) produced a poster featuring the character of Yoda from George Lucas‚Äô Star Wars (1982). In the poster, which bore the title ‘READ – and The Force is with you’, the Jedi Master Yoda carried his trademark cane, as well as a red, hardbound book.
